  1. Handy for travel; they get the job done.

  2. Extremely lightweight, easy to compress, does the job.

  3. It’s expensive but it’s worth it – good quality bag for rainy conditions. I put my expensive SLR camera in it when I go hiking in the rainforest with confidence. Cool color, too (“poppy orange”).

  4. l love these sacks. I have three of the 6 liter bags. Two are for camping and I use one for EDC. A 6 liter bag holds four days of food, or more, depending upon what you carry. Well made and durable. Exactly what I would expect from Osprey.

  5. Great size for lightweight sleeping bags. Works perfect with my summerlite bag. Great quality.

  6. Quality product you can expect from Osprey I use all sizes of these bags for various things everyday. This one is for my mountain biking shoes (size 42,9 in US measurement) after a ride. Keeps the trunk of the car clean. Both pics have my shoes in the bag and when closed, top is folded over three times then latched

  7. Osprey quality is well known. These dry bags are no exception. Lightweight thin ripstop nylon is strong and durable. Great for waterproofing all sorts of back packing clothes and gear. Bought mine on sale which was a nice bonus.

  8. I used this when hiking The Narrows at Zion National Park. I’m not sure if actually got wet, but it was a nice bag to have to put my snacks and electronics in.

  9. Excellent

  10. Absolutely loved. Most have for backpacking. I used it to organize my pack and keep things dry during the occasional rainstorm.

  11. Perhaps not as much protection as some heavy duty dry bags but being more pliable is a good thing when space and weight counts.

  12. I really like this bag. I own a 6L and 12L and they are both amazing. They keep my stuff organized, compact and dry. Worth the money.

  13. Maybe it is just the type of person I am but I like compartmentalizing my luggage. I bought these for a backpacking trip to condense and separate clothes. It worked really well.

  14. Incredibly handy and effective. I put my drone in here and never have to worry about it, even when crossing rivers.

  15. Has worked well on multiple kayak trips.

  16. I love the quality of the build, the workmanship that Osprey is known for. The color is fantastic! And its functionality is very satisfying.

  17. Despite the fact that my Osprey backpack cover failed and had my pack sitting in 6 inches of water for an 18 mile hike, these dry sacks saved my gear! Obviously the things I had outside these packs were ruined, but everything inside were bone dry! Great learning experience I guess, because every hike after this, EVERYTHING went into these dry sacks.

  18. But it right now!!! Don’t think twice

  19. I have several of these…completely waterproof and durable.

  20. Great for packing a down sleeping bag. Keeps it dry and compressed.

  21. Really nice. Big enough for my 4 piece cook set & eating utensils.

  22. Half the weight of my Sea to Summit roll down water proof bags.Great product.

  23. Bug out bag must have.

  24. Very light weight, but got put in the back of suburban with some other bags on my way to a kayak trip and when I got it out it already had a little hole. Didn’t even make it to the river. This bag is made for holding clothes inside another more durable bag.

  25. These sacks are the best!! they become pretty much air tight sacks once the lid has been rolled up and latched.

  26. Bought a whole host of these for backpacking/camping. I love the various sizes and colors. They are super light weight, so far have been very durable, and don’t take up much room, so I can always pack a spare one by hanging it from my backpacking pack.

  27. Used in backpack while hiking. Held 1 of each- socks, shirt, shorts, and a flannel. Compressed nicely!

  28. Does everything it supposed to. I use it as a bear bag and it supports weight well

  29. This little dry sack is incredibly light weight. Almost to the point where I worried that it wouldn’t actually be water tight. I’m happy to report that all contents I kept in this dry sack stayed nice and dry on my last week long camping/boating/rafting adventure. It shouldn’t surprise me as I’ve always like Osprey products and have found them to be quality time and again. I much prefer this sack to others I have that are thick plastic and don’t compress down like I’d like. It’s also very easy to stow this dry sack as it rolls up into a very thin tube shape. A quality item that I would purchase again if something happened to this one.

  30. Great bag, I had no issues with it at all and I was hard on my gear this last trip. I packed my camera and some clothes in one of these and it was perfect. It rained on us all day too, and my gear was all dry. I bought 2 and they worked just as they should. The only issue with the bags is that the waterproofing is also practically air proof as well, so rolling it up takes some practice. It’s airtight, so if you have lots of slack in the bag and try to roll it, it rolls up “puffy” with air inside like a bag of chips. If the bag had a bleeder valve that would make it perfect, but i’m sure it would add weight too. Take that part for what you will, I didn’t have any issues in the end.

  31. Good sack. Durable and just right. Very fire fighter friendly.

  32. Great light weight bag for hiking

  33. I use these as “packing cubes” for clothing etc inside my large off-road motorcycle’s (water resistant only) tailbag in case of rain or if I drop the bike during a water crossing. It’s perfect for this kind of use, because I don’t need the material to be extra tough, nor to handle intense water soakings or long immersions; I just need it to be light weight and ‘reasonably’ waterproof. (I use a bigger, thicker, “heavy duty” dry sack to hold my tablet, phone, shoes… stuff that absolutely cannot get even damp.) To give you an idea of size, it is NOT big enough to hold, say, my size 11.5 shoes (the top can only be rolled once, not the necessary 3 times). I suspect it can handle around a pair of size 9 or smaller. I sprayed these with waterproofing just to help, and I must say they’ve never let anything get damp even before I sprayed them.

  34. Used this for our phones while hiking Zion the Narrows. It’s a hike in water. Kept everything completely dry. The next day went kayaking and got completely wet but again Osprey kept my stuff safe.

  35. This is a great product to keep extra clothes and things dry so they will be there when you need them. I recommend this item and plan to purchase more in the future.

  36. USED THIS BAG FOR MY VAC AND WAS VERY USEFUL…MULTIPURPOSE BAG, CAN FIT SHOES, CLOTHES…ETC

  37. I bought several of these dry sacks for a backpacking trip last year and liked them so much I’m purchasing more. They are great for not only keeping small items dry but also organising. The biggest trick is making sure you get as much air as possible out of them first. I find if I flatten them and squeeze as much air out as I can before folding the top closed they fit in my backpack much better. Once you’ve folded them a few times you won’t be able to get any of the air trapped inside out, that’s part of this whole waterproofing deal, so practice a bit and you’ll get the hang of it. One of the nice things about these lighter bags is they’re a bit more versatile than their heavier counterparts. I’ve used one of the smaller ones as a wristlet to carry my phone and camera plus a few odds and ends when it was raining just a bit and I didn’t want to carry my whole pack but still didn’t want to risk anything getting wet. I’ve also used a larger one as a mini washing machine for one or two pieces of clothes at a time, works great for socks and underwear, just put a bit of water and your travel laundry soap inside, seal it up with some air inside, and shake like crazy for a minute. Rinse out very well, add clean water, shake again, rinse again, dry. Clean laundry is yours! See, very useful! Wonder bags!

  38. Love osprey and all their products!

  39. Light, packs well, great value
