Kayaking in Vietnam

Kayak is a new sport introduced into Vietnam in recent years. Previously, Kayak in Vietnam is considered a type of luxury sports. Many people have spent nearly $ 1,000 (equivalent to over 20 million Vietnamese Dong) to be able to get on a kayak.

However, with the development of the tourism industry in this Southeast Asian country, many efforts have been made to diversify the types of leisure at tourist destinations. As a country with many rivers and large seas, the government of Vietnam has timely spread kayaks to several parts of the country. Unlike many countries in the region, it is very difficult to buy yourself a Kayak in the famous tourist spots. The only way to get the best experience is to go on a tour provided by Travel Companies.

Nowadays, famous destinations for kayaking include Mekong Delta and Ha Long Bay. Mekong Delta is a large area in southern Vietnam. With a dense river system, this delta is really a suitable place for kayaking. But most prominently in Vietnam, you have to mention Ha Long Bay. This is a long-standing tourist destination not only in Vietnam but also in Asia. The experience of kayaking in Ha Long Bay, Vietnam is considered as one of the unforgettable experiences of Vietnam.

A Glimpse of Ha Long Bay, Vietnam

As a well-known tourist attraction in Vietnam, Ha Long Bay attracts millions of visitors each year. Recently, Vietnam National Administration of Tourism announced Ha Long Bay is the number one destination in this country in the first half of 2018. This shows that the attractiveness of Ha Long Bay is increasing.

Ha Long Bay is located in Quang Ninh province, Northeast region of Vietnam. This breath-taking place is part of the Gulf of Tonkin covering the waters of Ha Long City, Cam Pha Town, and part of Van Don District. The great beauty of Ha Long is made up of three elements: stone, water, and sky. With thousands of large, small rock islands rising from the emerald green water, they have created a giant watercolor painting of the Bay. This is a privilege of nature for Ha Long that no country in the world has. In fact, Ha Long is crafted from 1969 islands in which 989 islands were named. The island system consists of two types of the island. The limestone islands and Cliff islands. Here we see a series of beautiful and famous caves. The internationally recognized natural heritage zone covers an area of 434 km2 including 775 islands. This area is like a triangle with three peaks: Dau Go Island (west), Ba Ham Lake (south), Cong Tay Island(east).

Not only famous for its unique beauty but Ha Long also impress visitors with the local people. People in this area are known for their hospitality. Even though you are a foreigner, I am sure that the first time you come to Ha Long Bay, you will feel at home.

Why Should You Take The Kayak In Ha Long Bay?

Halong Bay is a place in Vietnam that has its tourism developed. To serve millions of visitors each year, the authorities here have developed a variety of vehicles to experience the beauty of this place. The easiest way to visit Halong bay is by cruise ships. In short, tourists have to go to Ha Long port and buy tickets through the boat owners here. Honestly, it's the easiest way to visit. But in my opinion, taking those ships is super boring.

It is unfortunate that the outside is a vast space that contains an eternal charm, and you are locked in a cabin. Ships are usually arranged according to a fixed tour schedule. Your experience is certainly not unique. And it's not interesting. That is why I always use the kayak to move to the magic islands here. The experience of kayaking in Ha Long Bay, Vietnam will be very different from other places. Nowhere else in the world offer you a setting amidst the waves and spectacular caves. Far out of your sight are the peaceful villages. This is true heaven!
